A cute story one of my piano student's parent shared with me:

I just had to tell you this. We were walking along in the grocery store yesterday w/ music on in the background. Ian said he liked it because it made him think of … I don't remember what he said exactly but something descriptive like flowers in a forest when the spring breeze was blowing, etc. Then he says, "Remember when I couldn't do that? Ms. Emily would play music and ask if we pictured anything, and I would say, 'No,' but now she's taught me and I've learned how to picture things."

(Ian has had 7 months of piano lessons with the Play-a-Story program.)
