If so, s/he could possibly receive 8 months of free Kindermusik classes (digital home materials included) between September 2021- May 2022 by applying for the Carolyn D. Penney Kindermusik® Children's Fund*!

* The Carolyn D. Penney Kindermusik® Children’s Fund was designed to provide assistance to children who are physically or emotionally challenged, who are financially or educationally disadvantaged, who have physical disabilities, or who have lost a parent.

In 2009, The Children’s Fund was expanded, by three-fold, to reach even more children. In prior years, the fund awarded tuition and materials or materials-only funding for children in need. And, each year, a high number of applicant families were turned down due to insufficient funding. The fund now awards materials only funding, relying on the matching generosity of educators to provide free tuition.

Kindermusik International, the fund’s primary sponsor, has not diminished its financial commitment to the Children’s Fund despite the challenging economic environment. The employee-owners of Kindermusik International and the SOUND Board believe this policy will result in the most children being reached and believe this is in the true spirit of partnership with its educator community.
